非省会公办医学院校常受区位劣势与排名制约的双重影响，在招生过程中面临生源质量参差与城乡结构失衡的挑战。以右江民族医学院为例，深入探究临床医学专业生源的选择动因及外部影响机制，结合该校以广西县域生源为主的特点，提出精准定位与差异化吸引为核心的招生策略。研究发现，该校大部分生源来自县域公立普通高中，高考成绩中等偏上，其临床医学专业的报考动机主要受个人职业认同与就业稳定性驱动影响，同时受家庭期望及医疗卫生行业的刚性需求与职业抗风险能力吸引。基于上述特点，聚焦招生策略的优化，提出一套实用且可复制的路径策略，以期能够帮助非省会公办医学院校提高招生精准度，优化生源结构，为地方医学院校突破“生源末位困境”提供新的解决思路。

The Public medical universities, which are located outside provincial capitals, often face dual constraints of geographical disadvantages and lower institutional rankings, which lead todisadvantages such as uneven student quality and imbalanced urban-rural composition in their student intake. Using Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities as a case study, this research investigates the drivers and contextual factors influencing student choice in the clinical medicine program.Given the university's reliance on student sources from Guangxi's counties, we propose enrollment strategies centered on precise positioning and differentiated engagement. The findings indicate that most students come from county-level public high schools and have moderately high Gaokao scores. Their choice of clinical medicine is primarily driven by personal professional identity and job stability,alongside factors such as family expectations, the sustained demand of the healthcare sector, and the profession's perceived risk resilience. Informed by these findings, this study proposes a set of practical and replicable strategies to optimize enrollment. These strategies are designed to enhance recruitment targeting and improve the student cohort structure for non-provincial medical universities, thereby offering a new solution to the “bottom-source dilemma” faced by local institutions.
